This marks the third year that Laick Design has helped develop and design the membership directory for the Greene County Chamber of Commerce. Using new membership information along with updated County statistics and history this membership directory is 88 full-color pages and is distributed to new members, existing members and potential businesses. With last year’s publication being recognized as a “Best in the Burgh’” winner, the overall look and design of the piece didn’t change too much. The cover features the new colors the Chamber is using that matches their office window display and their updated stationary along with a gorgeous photo from Ben McMillen from McMillen Photography. With college football season kicking off this weekend, Waynesburg University starts their 2019 season. For over 19 years, Laick Design has handled the Waynesburg University football media guide. This year’s guide was spiral bound at 88 pages featuring a full color cover set along with black and white interior pages. The interior pages featured articles, stats, player bios, information on the University as well as features on the Athletic Department. The media guide was shown at the PAC media day event held on July 26th.

This weekend is the seventh annual Uniontown High School Hall of Fame banquet and once again Laick Design designed the program for the event. This program is 68 pages and contains bios on the inductees, ads, scholarship info, and info on the projects the Hall of Fame committee has completed over the last seven years. It is always a real pleasure to work on this project and to showcase the alumni from Uniontown High School. The 11th Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame banquet weekend starts this weekend in Fayette County. The event will bring in past sports winners and honorees to the Penn State Fayette Campus. This also marks the tenth year Laick Design has completed the layout and design for the program. This year’s program is 68 pages full of articles, profiles, ads and scholarship winners. One of the projects we have been working on for over two years has been the Upper Monongahela River Water Trail map. This map was funded through grants and the state of West Virginia as a way to show boaters, kayakers, and others using the Monongahela River the various entry points and facilities along the Mon. The map is two-sided and features text featuring the types of fish in the Mon, the history of the Mon as well as safety regulations. The inner part of the map shows the map in detail from Brownsville, Pa to Fairmont, W.Va. Each stop is detailed with restaurant, hiking, biking, restroom and historical markers.

Laick Design recently completed the 2019 service catalog for Hranec Mechanical Contractors. This catalog displays images and information about the many departments and services that the Hranec Corp. offers to their clients. A really neat project that Laick Design was involved with was producing the walk-in signs and promotional tote bag for A Night to Remember. A Night to Remember is an event, held in Cranberry Township, that is a prom-style event for special needs guests. It includes dancing, dinner and a lot of fun. Throughout the night, the guests will be salon pampered and driven via limousine to the hotel, where they will have a chance to walk the red carpet, get their picture taken by paparazzi. Laick Design designed the walk-in signs that allow caretakers, family and friends to write special messages to the guests as they make their way

The Greene County Chamber of Commerce started off the New Year with a new look for their business cards. The full color cards incorporate design elements from their building signage, website and business directory for these new cards. These cards with their professional look and feel allow the Chamber to market their message and platform more consistently to their current membership as well as potential members in the tri-state area.
