Last month, Laick Design completed the 2021 Uniontown High School 2021 Hall of Fame Programs. With no physical event in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, the committee felt that they still needed a program for the 2021 class of inductees, With no 2020 class, this program was a bit different on many fronts. Usually the program is around 64-72 pages filled with information on the inductees and advertisements from local businesses. In 2021, the program was scaled back to around 36 pages with just bios on the inductees and information on the Uniontown High School Hall of Fame. We recently completed a series of ads for the National Road Heritage Corridor and Touchstone Center for Crafts promoting an event for May 2022. The event involves plein air art which essentially translates to painting outdoors. The event will be hosted by Touchstone Center for Crafts and Go Laurel Highlands and will be held along the historic National Road Heritage Corridor. Laick Design recently completed a series of signs for Pearl Insurance Agency. Located in Harmony, PA but moving to Zelienople, PA in April 2022, Pearl Insurance Agency was in need of some signs letting customers and traffic passing by on Route 68 of their message. The signs are full color and are 2 x 3 foot. Each sign has a different message but similar layout. The messages displayed mention contractor insurance, switching and saving money and info on their impending move to Zelienople in April. The space that they offer fits commercial and industrial tenants and has a ton of visibility. Laick Design recently completed the design and the installation of the door window graphics for Pearl Insurance Agency. These window signs are full color and are printed on material that allows the individual inside to see outside without any limitations. The signs feature the branding and colors used on their previous signs and their logo. The window graphic signs feature their logo, hours of operation, phone number and website. These new window graphics are on their doors at their new location in downtown Zelienople, PA.

Laick Design recently completed the design and layout for the National Road Heritage Corridor Road to Revitalization Report. The report is full color and details the ways to revitalization for communities along the Historic National Road. Featuring full color images of communities such as Claysville, Washington, Brownsville and Uniontown, the report features photos of the landmarks in the area but also ways to invite commerce and ways to grow for those communities. Utilizing the colors used by the National Road Heritage Corridor, the  photos along with the typography keep a consistent image for the brand throughout the publication. Laick Design recently teamed up with Cleveland brewery, Platform Beer Company, and Prantl’s Bakery to develop the postcard for their latest collaboration the Raspberry Torte beer. The postcard which was printed in full color showcased the new beer flavor the raspberry torte and was direct mailed to clubs, event companies, restaurants and speciality venues as a way to get them to carry the new beer at their facilities. The front of the card featured engaging photography with the beer and the torte featured. Whereas the back featured info on the beer and how to begin the process of having it available for purchase. The 14th Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony starts this weekend at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Fayette County. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the traditional banquet is not being held this year but instead being held at the annual golf outing. This also marks the 11th year Laick Design has completed the layout and design for the event program. This years book is slightly different as it contains info on the 2022 class as well as the 2020 and 2021 classes. This year’s program is 60 pages and contains articles, profiles, ads and WPIAL champions. The cover is full color with the insides being grayscale and a perfect binding.
