Laick Design recently worked with Mental Health of Southwest Pennsylvania along with Westmoreland County, PA to develop the program and signage for their first mental health legislative breakfast. With May being Mental Health Awareness month, the County and Commissioner Douglas Chew wanted to start a yearly tradition to discuss what mental health issues are surrounding the County. We designed the invitation, signage and the program for the event which was held on May 12th at Wesley Family Services in New Kensington, PA. We recently completed a series of flyers for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Network (SWPA). The SWPA Water Network is a coalition of organizations working to improve water quality and access in southwestern Pennsylvania. Located in Pittsburgh, PA and with over 200 coalition members their voice on matters such as the Ohio River Basin, clean water initiatives and others make them a strong force for change in the area. The 15th Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony starts this weekend at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Fayette County. With the success of the event being held at the golf course last year, it will once again be held there for a sold out crowd. These tri-fold, full color brochures were printed on 100# gloss paper stock and feature engaging stock photography and information on the services that Intensive Behavioral Health Services offer to those in the Fayette and Westmoreland County areas. The start of fall and football season is right around the corner and that can mean only one thing – the 2023 Waynesburg University Football Media Guide. With this guide Laick Design has completed 22 football media guides for Waynesburg University in 23 years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the football season was shortened and no media guide was produced. This years media guide is 80 pages, with a full color cover and black and white interiors. The inside pages are jammed full with photos, stats, historical matchups and information on the University. Featuring an engaging interior page layout the media guide will be used at all games

Over the years we have completed a few projects for the Fayette Friends of Animals. Those projects included their new logo, their 25th anniversary logo, business cards and now their best friend stickers. These stickers are a great addition to their promotional package and are currently available at the Fayette Friends of Animals in Uniontown. While small these stickers build great awareness and promote the offerings of dog and cat adoption.

Over the years, Laick Design has designed and completed the layout on the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory. For the 2023-2024 edition, the theme was agritourism. The interior content and main cover feature imagery showcasing farms and other scenery showcasing agritourism in Greene County. The colors featured were greens and light tan to provide a balance to the content shown. On the inside, we changed up the color and layout using those same green and tan colors inside as highlights and title colors along the top and bottom of each page. Content-wise the publication features full color ads, photos and information listings on all of the Chamber members.

Laick Design recently completed the 2023-2024 product catalog for Insultex a company located in the Etna neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. This catalog was a rather quick job – they needed the layout and design to be completed in a few days as they had press time reserved at a local printer in Pittsburgh. We were able to work quickly and design this catalog which is full color and the inside spread allows for the client to add a piece of sample material to the finished piece. This weekend the 2023 Uniontown Area High School Hall of Fame ceremony will take place in Uniontown, PA. Laick Design designed the event programs once again this year. This years program was 72 pages of full color content on the 2023 induction class. The program is filled with information on the inductees and advertisements from local businesses as well as information about the Uniontown Area High School. The program which is 32 pages in length contains information on the City of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and their ability to implement a trail town in the community.
