Laick Design is proud to unveil a brand-new logo for The Ice Plant Restaurant, a beloved dining destination in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. Since opening its doors in 1996, The Ice Plant has been a staple in the local community—known for its welcoming atmosphere, hearty food, and hometown spirit. With nearly three decades of service, it was time for a visual refresh that celebrates the restaurant’s heritage while embracing a modern identity.
Inspired by History
The new logo pays tribute to the restaurant’s name and historical roots with a stylized igloo graphic—a subtle nod to the cold storage and ice production legacy once tied to the area. The igloo symbolizes tradition and comfort, evoking a sense of home and hospitality that diners have come to expect from The Ice Plant.
Clean, Modern, and Memorable
Laick Design approached the rebranding with a focus on simplicity, versatility, and bold design. The typeface is crisp and impactful, with “THE ICE PLANT” featured prominently in a cool blue tone that instantly communicates freshness. The complementary orange and gold tones add warmth and energy, reflecting the restaurant’s vibrant personality and delicious offerings.
Locally Rooted
“Greensboro, PA” is proudly displayed beneath the logo, reinforcing the restaurant’s deep ties to the community. The tagline “Since 1996” honors its long-standing presence, reminding customers of the consistency and quality they’ve enjoyed for years.
Designed for Every Touchpoint
From takeout containers to menus and signage, the new logo was designed to shine across all brand materials. Whether it’s wrapped around a to-go box or featured online, this refreshed identity ensures The Ice Plant stands out with a polished, professional look that remains true to its roots.
