Laick Design recently completed the new logo and color scheme for the Laurel House based in Uniontown, PA. The Laurel House, is a noted pioneer in the field of community living arrangements in Pennsylvania. They first opened their doors to the mentally challenged on December 2, 1970. Since that time, over 300 individuals have participated in organizational programming since that date. As a private, non-profit corporation, Laurel House operates under the auspices of an administrative board of directors, a CEO and a program director. The organization also is part of the Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration which provides assistance, guidance, and direction.
Using the initials of L and H we used a bright green color scheme along with a playful and friendly typeface for the name of the company. To the right of the initials the tree which was present in their older logo is updated and features leaves in orange and yellow. The colors used in the leaves signify growth and is a set of colors used by those in the mental health wellness field.
We were able to generate logo assets for the Laurel House for use on the web and for print projects.
