This weekend marks Pilgrimage weekend for the Sisters of St. Basil the Great in Uniontown. Thousands will attend the event which takes place Thursday through Sunday to celebrate their faith and reconnect with God.

Laick Design was tasked with developing an app which is available on the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play store to help those coming into the area view the Pilgrimage festivities, times of the events and also receive updates on the happenings at Mt. St. Macrina.

While the big push for the app is helping those visiting the holy grounds this weekend. The app is also able to display News & Event info, A Daily Reflection prayer, and many other features such as links to Donate, a way to visit the Sisters of St. Basil the Great’s Facebook page and also view photos of the facilities.

When developing the app, we worked with the Sisters of St. Basil the Great to decide that the app would be a free app for anyone to use and download. We were also able to plan out schedules in terms of adding new content once the Pilgrimage festival is over.
