Laick Design is pleased to showcase the new logo for the Fayette County Career & Technology Institute. This new logo will launch along-side a new website for the technology school on March 10, 2020. The logo and website project have been over a year in the making and included speaking to faculty, students and community leaders to develop a look that represented a more modern and up-to-date presence for the institution. Laick Design recently completed the logo development for a new startup company called Virtuosity. This new company is building upon years of expertise in the cleaning and commercial property maintenance fields for a on-site mobile management system. The logo is lowercase and using bullets or dots to separate the syllables of the word. By bringing years of experience together this mobile app, which will launch in mid-March 2020 by Laick Design, will allow subscribers to manage a cleaning crew, a job site, order supplies and even monitor an employee punch clock system. Laick Design recently completed the new website for Gohn Enterprises located in Johnstown, PA. Gohn Enterprises came to Laick Design looking for a stronger web presence to increase their footprint in the Johnstown, PA area. Looking for a simple site with a way to showcase their services and offerings, Laick Design developed a site showing this info. We also featured information showing visitors that they are an authorized NAPA service provider. Using the NAPA colors of blue and gold we developed a site using that brand imagery. Laick Design recently developed the logo for a new pediatric dentist practice opening in Imperial, PA this spring. The practice, Golden Triangle Smiles, will be a pediatric dental practice and the goal of the logo was to reflect the comfort of dentistry for kids as well as being playful and calm. While working through the creative process, we were able to develop many iterations of the logo from the traditional Pittsburgh-themed logo colors of black and gold to colors that were more bright and playful such as turquoise and yellow but eventually the colors that were settled upon were periwinkle, light yellow and white. Sandra Lane is an author, speaker and organizing/productivity consultant located in Sewickley, PA. With a client base across the U.S. and an increased presence for developing a brand she contacted Laick Design to help. Through research and studies we performed, Laick Design was able to develop a logo for her usage. The logo features a lowercase “sl” which is similar to Sandra’s handwriting. We were able able to utilize colors in a muted palette that match an existing website and marketing materials. Above the curl of the “l” the branded name and titles appear. Variety Freelance is a freelance writing organization started by Mike Doerfler. Mike operates out of Cranberry Township, PA and has been doing freelance writing for businesses for many year. He has even helped Laick Design out on a few projects over the years. When Mike asked us to do a logo for his business as he expands in 2019 we knew we could deliver something great. Using an idea from the past, we incorporated a fountain pen into the page spine of the book with a pen movement coming from the book. Mike will use this logo on his website and other social media avenues.

Laick Design recently re-designed the logo for the Westmoreland County Veterans of the War on Terror. The new logo is an evocative pictorial representation of the underlying elements and symbols that express the organization’s collective goals and mission: Westmoreland County is featured in the center, signifying the local aspect of our mission. The global aspect of the War on Terror is signified by the longitude and latitude lines. The blue circle signifies the ongoing fight, and it also connects the red points for our 5 Branches of Military. The blue points represent our First Responders: LEOs, EMTs, Firefighters, Paramedics, and U.S. Citizens who all stand united with our Military and

Pearl Insurance Agency, opening in February 2018 in historic Harmony, PA, will offer insurance services to many in the Butler County area. With this being the first location and a newly formed business, Laick Design has helped develop a color scheme, logo, signage and other materials for Pearl Insurance Agency. These items will help the client stand out and make a memorable impression in the Harmony area.

Each year Laick Design does a laser engraved logo pumpkin. This year’s pumpkin features our 2018 Halloween logo. These laser engraved pumpkins can feature any type of artwork and typically last a month. Contact us if you want your company’s logo on a pumpkin for your business.

We recently completed the new logo for the Southwest Passage Wine Trail. The wine trail consists of eight wineries in the Southwestern Pennsylvania area. While working together the members host events, promote each others business and raise awareness for wine tourism in the area. Laick Design developed the original logo back in 2010. The new look was decided upon for new marketing and branding efforts such as merchandise and an upcoming interactive and mobile website.
