Laick Design recently had the opportunity to create custom large-format signage for Shaffer Equine for the 2026 Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Designed to provide clear, easy-to-read information while making a strong visual impact, the signage features the Shaffer Equine branding along with detailed listings of the horses participating in the sale. The layout organizes the information into clearly defined sections, including Trotting Colts, Pacing Colts, Trotting Fillies, and Pacing Fillies, making it easy for attendees to find the information they are looking for.

The design incorporates Shaffer Equine’s distinctive green, white, and dark charcoal color palette, creating a professional and cohesive appearance while providing excellent contrast for the extensive amount of information presented.

One of the challenges with a project like this is balancing a large amount of detailed information with a design that remains visually appealing and easy to navigate. Laick Design carefully structured the typography, headings, dividing elements, and horse listings to create a signage solution that is both functional and eye-catching.
