We recently completed the new website for Allevo, a company that allows SAP to Excel integration for data processing. Based in Germany but having a U.S. presence in Charlotte, NC their services are used by over 250 clients world-wide. The creative piece to this website is developing a site that does not play into the traditional thinking when it comes to Excel and data. Manfreda Associates is a veteran owned cleaning company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. Serving the DFW area for over 13 years, they specialize in window cleaning, gutter cleaning, graffiti removal and pressure washing. Laick Design recently completed a website conversion project for the Silvis Group. The Silvis Group had previously used a website that was HTML-based and was difficult in updating. However, they liked the look and feel of that site. Laick Design was able to not only keep the current look but convert the site to a more manageable platform. The idea came about as the COVID-19 pandemic prevented families from having parties, traveling or seeing their favorite characters. Using online viewing methods, the parent can book time online for a virtual party and visit from one of their favorite princesses. The website allows the parent to book a time and type of party for their child. Laick Design recently completed the new website for Florida-based Sea & Shoreline Aquatic Restoration. Looking to revamp their older website, Sea & Shoreline Aquatic Restoration wanted a more modern look, feel and presentation for their new web presence. They also wanted the website to look the same on mobile as it did on desktop and tablet versions of the site. We were able to accomplish their desires a few ways. For instance on the homepage, we utilized a curtain effect on the homepage to allow various elements to appear on the site at different times. The Pittsburgh Smile Studio website was a site we developed way back in 2008 but just recently upgraded it to being mobile friendly. Located in the heart of Oakland near Carlow University and the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Cushman serves a student population as well as many patients from other Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Located in Latrobe, PA, Saint Elmo’s Engraving has been operating in the Latrobe, PA area since 2010 producing everything from awards and Yeti mugs to laser engraved pumpkins. A few years back Laick Design designed and developed a new website for the Greene County Tourist Promotion Agency (PA). The site which contains information and more importantly event info on that website. However the event calendars used on the site were lacking in functionality and usability. To solve the client’s issue, we were able to develop an events calendar that is custom to the Greene County Tourist Promotion Agency. Their calendar now shows a custom photo for each approved event, along with detailed event info and the ability to signup for an event on the website. It can now display cancellations easily – which became necessary after the COVID-19 shutdown.
